Hello to all my wonderful clients and friends! I have missed you all while away on maternity leave. I wanted to send out a warm hello and finally share the news of our new little one. As you all know we were waiting to find out the gender for the delivery day……well, as my husband threw his arms up like he scored a touch down, he yelled, “It’s a GIRL!”
Yup, now Big brother Socrates has a little sister. He is so in love with her, always kissing and hugging her. It is so heart warming to watch. Sometimes he loves her so much he wants to share his toys, of which occasionally might get chucked at her head. (parental block reflexes improve every day) . She was born April 7th, at 11:35am, 8.5 lbs, 21.5inches. (clearly she gets her height from her dad) Her name is Apollonia Melissa. So far she has dark hair and dark eyes.
Of course that might change, but definitely a different look than her very blonde, blue eyed big brother. Here are a few pictures I wanted to share with you. I am posting the maternity and newborn photo shoots on my Facebook page. Please feel welcome to check them out.
I absolutely adore my time home nurturing and caring for my family and our new nugget, though I definitely miss my wonderful conversations and laughs with you all. I hope you all are having a wonderful summer, and I look so forward to seeing you’ll when I am back to work. I am sure we will have plenty of new silly stories to share and crack up over.
I will be returning in August. I see many people have already booked with me. This warms my heart! Thank you so much, I can’t tell you how much that means to me.
